MY STORY.

Hi there, I'm Kodie and welcome to my website!
I'd like to tell you a little bit about me and how I ended up here.

Growing up, I didn't know what I wanted or needed to do career wise. I went through a number of difficulties as a child and teenager that led to not really knowing who I was and where I was meant to be. 

It wasn't until I had my son at 25 that I knew I was meant to help and look after others!

Eventually, I made it into the NHS and worked in all care settings as a Health Care Assistant. I loved it so much and finally felt content in a role! Unfortunately, when 2020 arrived... so did covid! I think had this been the only dilemma for me, I'd have managed, however, my family went through huge disruptions.
My then 10 year old Daughter needed surgery, my Husband was 100's miles away training for the RAF and my son was finding remote schooling extremely difficult. All while my hours had increased at work.

Not long after my Daughters surgery did I fall ill and needed an emergency operation myself. It took me about a year to fully recover and leaving the NHS helped me with this! 

I was so disappointed that leaving was the right decision for me but health came first and unfortunately, primary care was not a place it once was for me.
End of 2021, Me and the kids moved to Shropshire to join my Husband and we have been here since. All is well and we are settled and able to live a relatively normal life 😂.

Jan 2024, I took on the task to start really taking care of me in the hope I could finally look after others again.
I decided to self heal....Through Angelic Reiki.

I was trained and attuned by a beautiful friend and Reiki Master. I use this modality on myself daily along with meditation and crystal therapy. I am a changed person in that I look forward and no longer look back. I see the world and life differently and much more positively!

It was only as I turned 42 that I really knew this is what I needed for me, but it was worth it and I think going through traumas in my life actually made me appreciate the self healing so much more. With this in mind, I am now able to help others again! Not through the NHS, but through my own work in Holistic therapy!
I currently offer Reiki, Angelic Reiki and Crystal Therapy.
I also aim to be qualified in Reflexology by the end of this year!!
I can offer Reiki healing in person and Distance! Both require a mini consultation and a debrief after the healing and both are as powerful as each other.
